Senior Partner, Bryson Harris Suciu & DeMay, PLLC (USA)
Dan Bryson is a founding Partner of Bryson, Harris, Suciu & DeMay, PLLC and is one of the nation’s most respected and experienced attorneys in the areas of consumer class actions, mass arbitrations and commercial litigation. For more than 36 years, he has handled numerous class actions and held significant positions including lead counsel in numerous MDLs. He has participated in and been lead counsel in numerous jury and bench trials across the country and has handled hundreds of mass arbitrations against corporations. His efforts have resulted in the recovery of billions of dollars for his clients. He also has extensive experience working with attorneys, funders and other partners on international litigation projects in the Courts in Amsterdam, the United Kingdom, Belgium, France, Spain, and Portugal, among others.
Mr. Bryson has been named as a member of the “Legal Elite” and “Super Lawyers” in North Carolina” for many years, including 2025. He was named one of the Top 10 lawyers in Raleigh by Charlotte Magazine for a number of years. He is a frequent speaker and writer on a variety of CLE topics and has been quoted by numerous publications. He has been an adjunct professor at Campbell Law School in Raleigh, North Carolina where he taught “Introduction to Class Actions and Multi-District Litigation.” He has received a number of awards, including the Thurgood Marshall award from the NC Advocates for Justice in recognition of his work supporting diversity, equity and inclusion in North Carolina. He is a past president of the Public Justice Foundation Board, a nationwide public interest law firm supported by the plaintiffs’ bar.
Currently, he is involved in actively pursuing hundreds of class cases and mass arbitrations primarily in the digital privacy sector. He has established a network of co-counsel across the country and internationally and enjoys working with other attorneys.
Mr. Bryson is a strong supporter of the arts, and he also enjoys running, skiing, playing the guitar, and golf in his free time. In 2023, he climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, successfully reaching the 19,341-foot Uhuru Peak summit. In 2025, he ran a ½ marathon on the Great Wall of China. He is an Eagle Scout and the past president of the Occoneechee Boy Scout Council. He is also the past Board Chair of NC Theatre and Theatre Raleigh.

2018: Interim Co-Lead Counsel for Outer Banks Power Outage Litig. – $10.35 million settlement for residents, businesses, and vacationers on Hatteras and Ocracoke Islands who were impacted by a 9-day power outage
2017: Co-Lead Counsel for Smith v. Floor and Decor Outlets of America, Inc. in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia – Case dealt with formaldehyde levels of laminate flooring sold nationwide. Status: Settled, confidential terms
