Terms and conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the sale and use of tickets for the Perfect Law Global Class Actions and Mass Torts Conference (the “Conference”) organised by Perfect Law LTD (“we,” “us,” “our”). By purchasing a ticket (“Ticket”) from our official website, you (“you,” “your,” “Attendee”) agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

 

2. Ticket Purchase and Registration

2.1. Accurate Information: You warrant that all information provided during registration is accurate and complete. We are not responsible for any issues arising from incorrect information.

2.2. Ticket Classification: Tickets are available for Day 1, Day 2, or the Full Conference (Day 1 & Day 2). Please ensure you select the correct ticket type for your needs.

2.3. Confirmation: A confirmation email will be sent upon successful registration and payment. If you do not receive a confirmation, it is your responsibility to contact us at anika@perfectlaw.co.uk.

 

3. Payment and Pricing

3.1. Currency and Taxes: All prices are listed in GBP (£) and are inclusive of any applicable VAT, unless otherwise stated.

3.2. Payment Methods: We accept payments via Google Pay, Apple Pay, and major Credit/Debit Cards. Your Ticket is not confirmed until payment is received in full.

 

4. Cancellation,  Refund, and Substitution Policy

4.1. Cancellation by You:

  • Refund Period: You have the right to cancel your registration and receive a full refund within 30 days of your original registration date, provided the cancellation request is made in writing to anika@perfectlaw.co.uk before the end of this 30-day period.
  • After 30 Days: All Tickets are non-refundable after the 30-day cancellation period. We are unable to make exceptions to this policy, as commitments to the venue and suppliers are made well in advance.
  • Ticket Transfers: You may transfer your Ticket to another individual at no extra cost. Requests for transfer must be submitted in writing to anika@perfectlaw.co.uk at least 15 days before the Conference begins, with the full details of both the original and new attendee. Transfers requested within 15 days of the Conference cannot be guaranteed.
  • No-Shows: Failure to attend the Conference without prior notification will be considered a “no-show,” and no refund or credit will be issued.

4.2. Cancellation by Us: In the unlikely event that we must cancel the Conference entirely for any reason, you will be entitled to a full refund of the Ticket price. We will not be liable for any other costs incurred, such as travel or accommodation expenses.

4.3. Postponement or Format Change: If the Conference is postponed or its format changes (e.g., from in-person to virtual), your Ticket will be automatically transferred to the new dates or format. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled or reformatted event, you may request a refund within 30 days of the announcement.

4.4. Force Majeure: We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, government regulations, public health crises, disaster, or any other emergency that makes it illegal, impossible, or commercially impracticable to hold the Conference.

 

5. Conference Program and Speaker Changes

5.1. We reserve the right to make changes to the Conference program, schedule, speakers, or content at any time without prior notice.

5.2. The absence of a particular speaker or session shall not entitle you to a refund.

 

6. Attendee Conduct

6.1. Professional Conduct: You agree to behave professionally and respectfully towards all attendees, speakers, staff, and vendors.

6.2. Harassment: We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment of any kind. Any attendee violating this policy may be expelled from the Conference without a refund at our sole discretion.

6.3. Compliance: You must comply with all applicable laws and the rules and regulations of the Conference venue.

 

7. Intellectual Property

7.1. All content presented at the Conference (including speeches, presentations, materials, handouts, and slides) is the intellectual property of the presenter or Perfect Law LTD.

7.2. You may use the content for your personal, non-commercial use.

7.3. Recording of sessions (audio, video, or photographic) is strictly prohibited without our prior written consent.

7.4. The distribution, publication, or commercial exploitation of Conference content is strictly forbidden.

 

8. Privacy

8.1. We collect and process your personal data in accordance with UK data protection law and our Privacy Policy.

8.2. By registering, you consent to us sharing your name, job title, and company with other Conference attendees and sponsors for networking purposes. You may opt-out of this sharing by contacting us at anika@perfectlaw.co.uk prior to the start of the Conference.

 

9. Liability

9.1. Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Conference shall be limited to the total cost of your Ticket.

9.2. No Consequential Damages: We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunity.

 

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim.
