Patrick J. Lanciotti is a Junior Partner in the Environmental Litigation and Toxic Tort practice at Napoli Shkolnik, where he concentrates on high-impact environmental class actions and complex mass tort litigation. His work sits at the forefront of some of the nation’s most significant environmental contamination cases, advocating for individuals and communities harmed by toxic exposures.
Mr. Lanciotti was actively involved in the landmark Flint Water Litigation, representing victims of the Flint Water Crisis in one of the largest contaminated water cases in U.S. history. His practice also includes representing individuals and municipalities affected by widespread contamination from per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), with matters spanning communities in Westhampton and Hoosick Falls, New York; Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Yaphank, New York.
In addition to his domestic work, Mr. Lanciotti plays a key role in international environmental litigation. He represents thousands of children suffering from elevated blood lead levels due to prolonged exposure to toxic emissions from a lead smelting complex in La Oroya, Peru.
Through his practice, Mr. Lanciotti has developed deep experience in litigating complex scientific and environmental issues, and he is committed to holding corporate and governmental actors accountable while securing meaningful relief for impacted communities.
During his time at Pace Law School, Patrick served as a law clerk to the Regional Attorney at the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Region 2. In addition, he served as a legal intern at the Pace Environmental Litigation Clinic, where he assisted Riverkeeper in bringing federal and state lawsuits to protect the Hudson River and the watersheds that provide New York City’s drinking water. Patrick also served as the Articles Editor of Pace Environmental Law Review.
