Damien Geradin

Damien Geradin the founding partner of Geradin Partner, a fast-growing pan-European law firm specialised in competition law, digital regulation and litigation with offices in Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Cologne, Helsinki, London, Paris. It comprises 19 partners for a total of 70 lawyers.

Over the past two decades, I have represented a wide variety of clients in multiple European Commission competition investigations (including, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Slovak Telekom, O2/CETIN/ T-Mobile, Google AdTech, Google AI Overviews, etc.), as well as investigations by the Dutch, French, German and UK competition authorities. I have also represented clients in major cases before the Court of Justice of the European Union, and I am involved in multiple collective actions in the UK and other jurisdictions.

In addition to being a practicing lawyer, I am also an academic. Over the years, I have held academic positions in leading law schools, including Columbia, Harvard, Michigan and Yale. I am currently a tenured professor at Tilburg University and a visiting Professor at the University of East Anglia. I am the author/co-author of 21 books and over 150 law review articles, and the founding editor of the Journal of Competition Law & Economics. My work has featured in Bloomberg, the Financial Times, the New York Times, Politico, Reuters, the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post. I have also appeared on CNN to discuss major antitrust cases.
