David Malmstrom is Head of Global Class Actions Research at Broadridge Financial Solutions, where he leads a team responsible for research and market intelligence on securities class actions, financial antitrust litigation, regulatory disgorgements, and other investor recovery matters worldwide. He has nearly two decades of experience in complex litigation. His work focuses on tracking significant cases, settlements, and legal developments across jurisdictions and evaluating their implications for institutional investors.

David is the author of Broadridge’s Global Class Action Annual Report and related research on emerging trends in securities litigation and collective redress. He also represents Broadridge in industry initiatives, including the ISSA Class Actions Subcommittee and SIFMA working groups. David earned his J.D. from George Mason University School of Law.
