Ariel is a practicing lawyer in Israel and partner at Herzog Fox & Neeman and is also licensed as a solicitor in England and Wales. Ariel holds an L.L.B degree from the University of Sheffield and an L.L.M degree from the Jerusalem Hebrew University. In his PHD he Conducted a class action comparative research at Brunel University London UK.

Ariel teaches at the University of Haifa a course on class actions and collective redress. Ariel co- moderated the Haifa University class action conferences which became so well-known globally. He also chaired class action conferences in London and recently co-moderated an international class action conference at the university of Amsterdam.
