Managing Partner, Delex Law Firm (Italy)
Giorgio is professor of private law at the University of Genoa and managing partner of Delex Law Firm in Milan. He holds a doctorate in law from the State University of Pisa (’06), an LL.M. from Harvard Law School (’02) and a J.D. from the University of Genoa (’02).
As a professor, he published extensively on class action and other means to aggregate claims in Italy, with a focus on private enforcement of competition law. As a practitioner, he assisted one of the biggest Italian consumers associations in the only two competition class actions ever filed in Italy.
He is currently assisting over 400 Italian firms in what will be the biggest collective action ever filed in Italy for an infringement of competition law.
He won the Francesco Santoro Passarelli prize of the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei (the oldest scientific academy in the world) for the best dissertation in the field of private law.
