Jerzy Luiten

Jerzy Luiten has been a judge at the District Court of The Hague since 2010. Prior to this profession he worked as a lawyer in the firm of NautaDutilh for eleven years. He is currently the coordinator of class action cases at the District Court of The Hague. He has heard a variety of class actions, especially idealistic claims against the Dutch state. Topical subjects are climate change and environmental protection.

Jerzy is also a committee member of the Dutch Association for Mass Damage and Collective Action (VEMCA).
