Judge Robin L. Rosenberg was appointed to serve on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida by President Barack Obama and confirmed by the United States Senate in 2014.  Before serving on the federal bench, she served as a Circuit Court judge for Florida’s Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County. From 1999 to 2002, Judge Rosenberg was the Vice President and General Counsel of SlimFast Foods Company.  Prior to her work as general counsel, Judge Rosenberg was a litigation partner with the law firm of Holland & Knight and a city attorney for West Palm Beach.

As a federal judge, Judge Rosenberg was the Chair of the Judicial Conference Advisory Committee on Civil Rules and a board member for the new edition of the Manual for Complex Litigation.  She also co-created the national U.S. Courts Civil Discourse and Decisions and Courts and Civility program.  Judge Rosenberg became the twelfth director of the Federal Judicial Center in 2025.
