From John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)

Take the AirTrain JFK to Jamaica Station. From there, transfer to the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) to Penn Station or take the E subway line towards Manhattan.

From Penn Station, take the A, C, or E subway downtown to West 4th Street–Washington Square Station. The venue is a 5-minute walk.

Alternatively, take a taxi or rideshare (approx. 45–60 minutes depending on traffic).

From LaGuardia Airport (LGA)

Take the Q70 SBS bus to Jackson Heights–Roosevelt Avenue, then transfer to the E or F subway line towards Manhattan.

Get off at West 4th Street–Washington Square Station. The venue is a short 5-minute walk.

Alternatively, a taxi or rideshare takes approximately 30–45 minutes.

From Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)

Take the AirTrain Newark to Newark Liberty International Airport Station, then board an NJ Transit train to New York Penn Station.

From Penn Station, take the A, C, or E subway downtown to West 4th Street–Washington Square Station.

Alternatively, a taxi or rideshare takes approximately 40–60 minutes depending on traffic.

  • From New York Penn Station:

    Take the A, C, or E subway lines downtown to West 4th Street–Washington Square Station.

    Exit towards Washington Square Park and walk 5 minutes to the Law School.

    From Grand Central Terminal:

    Take the 4, 5, or 6 subway downtown to 14th Street–Union Square, then transfer to the N or R train to 8th Street–NYU, or walk approximately 15–20 minutes south towards Washington Square Park.

Getting to NYU School of Law by car

From I-95 or major highways, follow signs to Manhattan and head towards Downtown/Greenwich Village.

Take the exit towards 14th Street or Houston Street, then navigate west towards Washington Square Park.

Turn onto Washington Square South, where the Law School is located.

Note:
The area around Washington Square Park has limited vehicle access and heavy pedestrian traffic. Street parking is extremely limited. We recommend using nearby parking garages:

  • Washington Square Village Garage (Bleecker Street) – 3–5 minute walk
  • Icon Parking – Greenwich Village – multiple locations within a short walking distance
