Sir Peter Roth is a judge of the High Court of England & Wales sitting in the Chancery Division.

He was President of the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal from 2013-21 and continues to sit in the Tribunal as a chairman. 

He was President of the Association of European Competition Law Judges in 2021-22. 

He delivered the Blackstone Lecture at the University of Oxford in 2018, was co-editor (with Vivien Rose) of Bellamy & Child – European Community Law of Competition (6th edition) and before becoming a judge was a Visiting Professor at King’s College, London.
