Nicholas Gibson is a barrister called to the Bars of England & Wales and of Ireland, practising at Matrix Chambers in London. Nicholas has experience of diverse commercial and public law matters, with particular interests in competition law, commercial disputes, consumer law, the digital economy, economic regulation, EU law and human rights. Nicholas has appeared in many class actions under the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal’s collective proceedings regime, including McLaren (RoRo), Gutmann (mobile phones), UKTC (trucks), Taylor (motor finance), Boyle (trains), Kent (Apple ecosystem)). That experience has included applying for three collective settlements, including the first ever approved by the Tribunal, in McLaren.
